• Observes all safety rules and company regulations
• Communicate verbally with the previous and subsequent Quality Auditors concerning any issues or opportunities occurring during the shift
• A thorough understanding of the Extrusion, Formed Assembly and PIN Pull process, equipment, measuring devices and their relationships.
• Basic understanding of cutter operation to ensure smooth transition from prior to the next activities.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the finished product spec to determine the correct processing information.
• Must have an understanding of First Piece Inspection and product quality requirements.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of information charts such as PPM, Customer Complaints, Scrap, and Returned parts.
• Understand and assist associates in the use of the PLEX system.
• Understand the use of measuring equipment: calipers, Pi Tape, QC20, etc.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles, including 5S, Kanban system, Supermarkets, Kaizen events.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilites as assigned.
• Regular acceptable attendance and punctuality are required.
