TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: GYN/Urology/Plastics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty required. License: RN license required Certifications: AHA BLS required Must-Have: Tracheostomy and surgical experience required. Must have a skill ranking of 3 or 4 in two out of the following four specialties: Gynecology, Urology, Plastics, Colorectal. Epic experience required. Traveler will be required to pass a Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. Description: This position requires evening and night shifts, with a schedule of Sunday to Saturday. Weekend rotation will be discussed during the interview process. Surgical experience is a requirement, including care and management related to tracheostomy. Nurses will provide care for patients across four specialties: Gynecology, Urology, Plastics, and ENT. Daily responsibilities will include monitoring patients and administering care related to gynecological oncology, urology with urinary diversion surgeries, and plastic surgeries, including free flap reconstruction. The unit will provide excellent experience with airway management and tracheostomies for nursing professionals planning to work in critical care in the future. Team members will be part of an interdisciplinary team that supports and educates patients undergoing specialized procedures. The position involves a patient ratio of 3:1 or similar, ensuring proper patient care and attention. Floating to other medical/surgical units may be required on occasion. Patients will range in age, and daily census will typically be around 28 patients, across 28 beds. Registered Nurses are essential to the recovery and well-being of the patients, making a significant impact through their specialized care.
