Davis Conference Center is looking for a full-time Property Maintenance Technician to help maintain our premier conference center and adjoining hotel. Every day brings something new-from repairing equipment and troubleshooting building systems to completing preventative maintenance that creates an exceptional experience for our guests.Competitive Pay - $16-18 per hour. The starting rate is based on experience, and this position participates in our compensation program, which provides opportunities for future pay growth based on performance and career development.401(k) with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%. Hotel discounts at select Western States Lodging & Management properties.Eligible full-time associates are entitled to the following:Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans plus Health Savings Account (HSA) optionsOptional supplemental benefits, including accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and other coverage options.Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefitsWhat You'll Do:Perform preventative and corrective maintenance throughout the conference center and hotelTroubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and other building systemsComplete carpentry, painting, flooring, drywall patching, and general repair projectsAssist with equipment installations, construction projects, and facility improvementsRespond promptly to maintenance requests while ensuring high-quality workmanshipFollow work orders, OSHA safety standards, and company security proceduresCommunicate professionally with guests, vendors, and fellow team membersWork closely with the Chief Engineer and maintenance team to keep the property operating efficientlyHelp maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of the building and surrounding groundsWhat We're Looking For:Experience operating a forkliftAbility to lift 50+ pounds regularlyComfortable climbing ladders, working at heights, and working outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to follow work orders, safety procedures, and maintenance standardsStrong verbal and written English communication skillsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPositive attitude with a team-oriented and customer-focused approachHotel, hospitality, or commercial building maintenance experience preferredBasic HVAC knowledge or experience preferredAbout Davis Conference Center:Located in Layton with stunning mountain views, Davis Conference Center is one of Utah's premier event destinations and is connected to the award-winning Hilton Garden Inn.
