Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry

• Provide high-quality care to patients in a Telemetry unit
• Perform thorough physical assessments and document accurately
• Manage care for acute stroke patients
• Demonstrate strong time management and critical thinking skills
• Maintain A.I.D.E.T behaviors and adhere to core measures
• Prevent hospital-acquired conditions (HACs) and infections (HAIs)
• Float to other Med-Surg and Tele units as needed

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care experience
• Chemo experience is a plus
