Solo pediatric office looking for PART-TIME medical assistant. This would be a job-share position with the currently employed medical assistant.
Schedule would be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 08:30am to 4:30pm. No evening or weekend hours.
Minimum degree requirement: Medical Assistant certificate.
Must have prior medical office experience; be comfortable interacting with pediatric-aged patients; have excellent communication skills; be able to work independently; and have thorough knowledge of office machines, including desktop computing; multi-line telephone, copier, scanner, and fax machine.
Candidate will be responsible for checking patients in for provider; taking vital signs; triaging patients over the telephone, and for completing in-house CLIA-waived tests along with preparing specimens for sending out to off-site laboratory.
Candidate will also be responsible for all aspects of vaccine management, including their administration, storage, handling, and inventory; along with their documentation in the medical record and in VacTrAK.
