About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry and Nephrology Med/Surg License: Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice Certifications: BLS; NIHSS (can obtain after offer); ACLS preferred Must-Have: - EKG testing clearance before the start date - Prior Cardiac Telemetry and Nephrology Med/Surg experience - Ability to work every other weekend or two weekends per month Description: This position requires the nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a Med/Surg/Telemetry setting. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs and providing appropriate interventions. Experience in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is essential. Knowledge in pre/post hemodialysis management and renal failure is preferred. Floating to other units or facilities may be required, based on the skill set. There will be a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:7-8 during shifts. Travelers requesting time off during holidays will not be accommodated.
