Department: Residential | Employment Type: Full Time | Location: Overland Park, KS | Compensation: $19.00 – $19.50 per hour Key Responsibilities Housekeeping Daily upkeep and cleaning of common areas, office, clubhouse, model units, corporate apartments, vacated apartments, mailbox areas, stairwells, hallways, breezeways, elevators, laundry rooms, and amenity areas. Plan work assignments based on schedule of future move‑outs. Conduct deep cleaning or routine services as needed or scheduled. Maintenance Repair any minor maintenance items. Inspect that locks are properly functioning while working in specific areas. Assist in maintaining all grounds adjacent to the building(s) and performing light ice/snow removal procedures. Keep community grounds neat and free of litter. Administration Maintain organization of the supply area and notify supervisor of any needed supplies. Maintain Safety Data Sheets and keep all chemicals accurately labeled. Assist maintenance or office team as needed. Report any safety concerns per company policy. Deliver notices/flyers to apartment units as needed. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Effective, courteous communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Work well with others and follow instructions. Strong customer service skills with confidentiality and professionalism. Knowledge of safety programs and related policies, procedures, and laws. Basic math skills. Good organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge and practice of company standard operating procedures. Professional attitude and neat, clean, well‑groomed appearance. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and willingness to learn. Effective time‑management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and exhibit exceptional follow‑up skills. Ability to work under pressure to complete projects on schedule. Maintain constant state of alertness and safe manner. Manage emergency situations. Use English for communication with clients or coworkers; other languages may be used if mutually preferred. Driving is an essential function of the job. Education (Level and Type) High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Required Work Experience Minimum number of years: Depends on community product. Certifications and/or Licenses Valid driver’s license for work purposes. Valid automobile insurance for business use. Other licenses or certifications required by governing agencies—otherwise, none.
