Veterinary Technician Surgery

Seeking an experienced licensed veterinary technician to join our surgical team! Join our growing team at VCA VREC of Westbury and help provide exceptional care to pets in our community! We’re seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician for our Surgery team at our 24-hour Emergency/Specialty hospital. We support full technician skill utilization and provide gold-standard medicine with a focus on patient care. Surgery Technician Duties (not limited to): Procedural anesthesia monitoring Ability to calculate drug doses Full Technician Skill Utilization Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams Venipuncture / IVC placement Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority) Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services Providing compassionate care for all patients Imaging and advanced procedures Paid on-call availability Minimum 1 year experience VCA Total Rewards Benefits Package!
