Internal Medicine Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) MedCBO, Inc is a Colorado-based healthcare business infrastructure company that supports independent physician groups in launching, managing, and scaling practices through a comprehensive Business-in-a-Box platform. The role is for physicians who wish to operate an independent practice while receiving structured operational support. Physicians own and operate the practice entity; MedCBO supplies non‑clinical administrative services. The position is not an employed physician role. Responsibilities Provide medical care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing in partnership with MedCBO. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Qualifications MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state; Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community-based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician-directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician-owned practice.
