As a Fresh Buyer, a big part of your role is to grow and maintain relationships with vendors and growers around the world - Giving you the opportunity to make a difference.JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Fresh Buyer you will be responsible for purchasing all floral products and maintaining inventory to meet the Fresh Salesperson’s and customers’ needs.Primary Responsibilities Include:Responsible for purchasing and negotiating product from vendorsEvaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliersPlace orders daily to meet the needs of the Fresh SalespeopleEnsure coolers are stock daily and inventory is maintainedAlways have the specified fresh product for Event customersMaintain active relationships with growers/vendorsCommunicate with your co-buyersTrain, motivate, monitor and evaluate your staffDelegate tasks to the appropriate staff to become more efficientAct as a Team Player and provide support to other areas of responsibilityQualifications:Ability to work your schedule hours based on the needs of businessAbility to work in a team.
