Sr. Production Scheduler

Overview Responsible for executing and ensuring the integrity of the master production schedule by verifying the timely completion / receipt of planning, tooling, materials, details and sub-assemblies for one or more cost centers. Initiates investigation and involves the key personnel required to resolve problems that may impact scheduled shipments Job Details Release all assemblies, sub-assemblies and shop orders to the floor. Review production plan for appropriate action to take or reschedule assembly orders when unable to release due to shortages. Work with all departments that support production (i.e. Contracts, Quality, Purchasing)[SV1.1][SV1.2] the Contracts Department to meet customer commitments and resolve order scheduling issues. Propose and obtain [SV2.1]gets authorization for a recovery plan on delinquent orders when normal lead time is insufficient to meet customer needs. Coordinate shipping plan and manufacturing plan with production supervisor. Coordinate production schedules, verify inventory to meet master schedule requirements.[SV3.1] Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses[SV4.1] Monitor and adjusts Kanbans / Kanban quantities as required to maintain inventory targets as well as meet master schedule requirements. Regularly reviews / maintains MRP data integrity. Manage the scheduling and timeliness of the production process.[SV5.1] Collaborate with various teams to meet production goals efficiently.[SV6.1] Maintain monthly Build Plan[SV7.1] Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
