Job Summary:

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Clarksville, Tennessee. This position involves providing care to adult patients with complex health needs, including cases such as ARDS, pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of orientation.

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, Tennessee license or compact license on file at the time of submission, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications, and experience with Cerner electronic medical record system


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in stepdown or emergency room units, float to stepdown or emergency room as needed, experience with adult patient population and conditions such as ARDS, pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock


• Travel Requirement: Yes


• Float: Float to stepdown/ER as needed


• Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/13, and 7/20. The unit comprises 21 beds with patient ratios of 1-2. The unit makes the schedule; IVS to interview or manager to extend offers.
