- Join Deaconess, the region's largest and most integrated healthcare group, proudly hosting a dynamic multispecialty team of over 1,000 providers and still expanding.
- We are particularly interested in candidates who wish to practice bariatric medicine for patients who are seeking weight loss medication management and surgical bariatric options.
- This full-time opportunity requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. It offers a guaranteed salary of $210,000 for your first year, along with the potential for a productivity incentive and quality bonus. The long-term earning potential is highly competitive, and it recognizes your dedication and success.

Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental insurance, substantial retirement contributions (with flexible options such as pretax and post-tax 401(k) contributions, in-plan conversion options, and a 457(b) plan), five weeks of vacation, one week dedicated to CME along with a professional allowance, six paid holidays, malpractice insurance, a generous moving allowance, an initial sign on bonus and much more.
- State-of-the-art equipment and facilities are available, including the Epic electronic health record system integrated across all inpatient and outpatient areas. Our team proudly holds a Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and Quality Improvement Program accreditation.
- Full-time positions require 36 hours of work per week, with flexible scheduled shifts. The primary duties involve working in the outpatient clinic.
- Advanced Practice Provider support is available.
- There are leadership engagement opportunities within our clinic governance structure.
- Additionally, there are teaching opportunities available with residents and medical students, including those at IU School of Medicine-Evansville.

- Location: Our primary bariatric outpatient clinic is conveniently located in Newburgh, IN. This position will receive a variety of different patient populations and will complete some bariatric outreach to our neighboring hospitals.
- Evansville is recognized as a regional hub for the Tri-State area, which includes Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. It offers a blend of small-town charm and big-city amenities. As the third-largest city in Indiana, Evansville features an impressive array of nationally ranked schools and a state-of-the-art Indiana University School of Medicine facility. The area provides opportunities to explore cultural, historical, and artistic sites, along with several outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and water sports. Newburgh, IN, is a charming part of the Evansville metropolitan area. Conveniently located within easy reach of Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, and Indianapolis, this region not only boasts a low cost of living but also offers numerous opportunities for growth and enjoyment.
