Job Summary:
The profession is Nurse, specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a Short Term Acute Care facility located in Lubbock, Texas. This position involves providing post-operative recovery care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role requires flexibility to float between units and the ability to work days on a scheduled shift, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas nursing license or compact license, ACLS, BLS certifications, 1 year of recent PACU or related acute care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a trauma level II facility, familiarity with CATH Lab and Interventional Radiology procedures, PALS certification, and comfort working with acute care patients.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable working with acute care patients, be familiar with CATH Lab and IR procedures, and meet the minimum experience requirements. On-call is required to include weekdays and weekends, typically 6-7 days per month. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays specified. All scheduling requests, including PTO, must be communicated upfront during submission.
