Executive Director

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall strategic leadership, fund development, management, and operational oversight of Erin's Angels. This role serves as the primary driver of the organization's financial sustainability through comprehensive fundraising efforts, including grant research and writing, donor cultivation and stewardship, corporate sponsorship development, fundraising campaigns, and strategic revenue generation. The Executive Director guides the organization's mission, ensures financial sustainability, maintains stakeholder relationships, and oversees program implementation. As the organization's primary spokesperson, the Executive Director represents Erin's Angels to donors, foundations, community partners, volunteers, government agencies, and the broader community. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy: Along with the Board of Directors, the ED will help develop and implement the organization's strategic plan, setting goals and objectives in alignment with the mission and vision. Financial Management: Oversee the organization's budget, ensure proper financial controls, and manage fundraising and revenue-generation activities. Board Relations: Work closely with the Board of Directors, providing regular updates, reports, and insights to inform decision-making. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, community leaders, and other key stakeholders. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and nonprofit best practices. Fund Development & Grant Writing: Serve as the primary lead for all fundraising and grant development activities to ensure the financial sustainability and growth of the organization. Brand Management: Ensure consistent branding across all communication materials and platforms. Public Relations: Establish relationships with media outlets and coordinate press coverage to promote the organization. Community Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, local businesses, and other stakeholders to promote the organization's mission. Outreach Activities: Plan and execute community events, presentations, and other outreach initiatives to raise awareness and build support. Partnership Development: Collaborate with other nonprofits, government agencies, and community groups to identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration. Public Speaking: Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and other public forums. Salary Range: $85,000–$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated success in nonprofit leadership, fund development, and grant writing.
