Industrial Electrician - High Priority

Job Description Job Description Overview We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support electrical systems across a modern manufacturing environment. Working closely with maintenance, operations, engineering, and project teams, the Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial electrical systems supporting complex manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Install, modify, and maintain branch and dedicated electrical circuits supporting industrial equipment and control systems Troubleshoot and repair electrical components including lighting systems, transformers, switchboards, panels, and power distribution equipment Support installation, maintenance, and diagnostics of electrical and electronic components on manufacturing and process equipment Perform testing of electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, and controls to ensure proper operation and compliance Conduct grounding checks and inspections to verify system integrity and safety Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on switchgear, transformers, power monitoring systems, and distribution networks Troubleshoot issues related to automatic transfer switches, backup power systems, lighting controls, and associated control circuits Maintain and repair electrical components of fire protection and life-safety systems Adhere to all electrical and maintenance safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and arc-flash protocols Partner with Environmental, Health & Safety teams to ensure work is performed in full compliance with safety and environmental standards Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with additional maintenance tasks as needed Required Qualifications Completion of a recognized Industrial Electrician certification or equivalent hands-on experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation maintenance Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical controls and systems using schematics, drawings, and P&IDs Working knowledge of power distribution systems, VFDs, transformers, motors, generators, UPS systems, and transfer switches Strong understanding of applicable electrical codes and regulations, including NEC, NFPA, OSHA, IBC, and life-safety requirements Preferred Experience & Skills Experience supporting manufacturing environments such as metals, chemicals, semiconductors, or other process-driven industries Exposure to medium- and high-voltage electrical systems Practical understanding of arc-flash hazards and mitigation Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly across teams and leadership levels Work Environment & Expectations This position supports a dynamic industrial setting and requires hands-on engagement with equipment and infrastructure.
