Responsibilities As Club Manager, you lead all club operations to ensure an outstanding member experience and financial success. Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club monthly and yearly sales targets. Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high‑performing staff including Members Service Representatives, Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, Trainers, and Custodians. Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring staff follows superior customer‑service guidelines. Manage staff scheduling, payroll, employee issues, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures. Handle front‑desk activities: answer phones, check members into the system, process new member sign‑ups, conduct tours, respond to member requests, and facilitate member issues. Ensure timely opening/closing of the gym, oversee cleanliness and maintenance, guarantee safety, and communicate equipment repairs. Lead marketing efforts by training staff on current promotions, authorizing expenditures and refunds, making daily bank deposits, and preparing HR forms for Corporate Payroll. Track weekly, monthly, and annual statistics and reports to identify performance trends. Support other employees during absences and adapt to changing circumstances. Sales and Business Leadership Establish communication of sales objectives and goals with the team. Assist in forecasting annual sales targets and adapting best practices. Evaluate team member performance, address underperformance, and create action items to reach sales goals. Oversee short‑term and long‑term sales goals across the region to contribute positively to company objectives. Competencies Communicates openly and effectively. Builds strong relationships. Previous management experience preferred. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office). Current CPR certification preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and organizational abilities. Confident problem‑solver. Physical Demands Continual standing, moving, and communicating. Lift up to 75 pounds. Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals. Frequent cleaning and sanitizing tasks. Perform bending, twisting, and other physical movements.
