Instructor - Construction Management

Department of Construction Management – Instructor Position (12‑month, non‑tenure) Primary Purpose: Instructor of Construction Management responsible for a 4/4 teaching load and service. Reports to the Department Chair. Working hours vary. Supervision Exercised: None. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate courses in construction management, including computer applications, general construction management, and capstone projects. Prepare and deliver course materials, assignments, and assessments. Maintain course records and grades. Participate in departmental service activities. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or closely related field from an accredited institution. Demonstrated ability and track record of instructing undergraduate students in construction management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of two years of college‑level teaching experience in relevant subjects. Minimum of five years of industry experience in construction management. Statement(s) of Understanding Background check required; credit check may also be requested. Incumbent designated as a “Responsible Employee” under Title IX and must report any violations.
