Job-ID28859847Reference26-19842Salary$89.55 / hourJob Description: Wireless Systems and Compliance Engineering – Radio Frequency Systems – Wireless Coexistence Team: WSCE RFS CoEx Project: RFS CoEx Performance Study Services and Deliverables: - Execute NPI WiFi/BT CoEx performance testing for NPI devices based on defined coverage. Maintain test stations on calibration, scripts, config files and equipment. - Perform first-level issue triage for conducted and radiated performance testing using sniffer, validate CoEx policies, identify internal OS regressions. - Post-process RF CoEx performance data and generate quality reports on throughput, MOS, and GPM e.g., audio test for Glitch Per Minute (GPM) detection, Adobe Audition/POLQA for MOS scores). - Execute competitor study first-level issue trouble-shooting with 3rd-party labs to ensure data accuracy for WiFi/BT/Cell/GNSS CoExistence. - Provide onsite technical support at 3rd-party labs to assist in new test bring-up, test setup maintenance to resolve execution issues. - Track competitor study test progress across 3rd-party labs to ensure timely data delivery and on-demand test needs. - Manage vendor logistics and PR/PO processes, including tracking vendor BPO balance, procuring competitor devices and RF equipment/accessories. Scope: • Orgs: WSCE RFS CoEx • Types of users: WSCE RFS CoEx team • Products: Phone, Pad, Home and competitor devices Requirements: • Experience with testing system performance of multi-radio coexistence for various wireless technologies (e.g., Cellular, Wi-Fi, BT, GNSS) in throughput, MOS, glitches, carrier-noise. • Hands-on knowledge of RF lab equipment including spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator and sniffer. • Knowledge of wireless architectures including front-end, antenna sharing, link budget. • Ability to travel domestically up to 10%. • Strong Project management capability. • Excellent communication for both written & verbal in English • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years relevant work experience. • Programming experience of RF test automation • Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence with hands-on experience. Timezone: • The engineer will work with Cupertino/China teams during overlapped work hours. • The engineer will work in Client office and 3rd party lab per business needs
