EP Mapping Specialist, CAS I In Training - Kansas City

Overview As an EP Mapping Specialist at Medtronic you will collaborate with clinicians, engineers, physicians, and innovators to execute mapping solutions for cardiac and other electrophysiological systems. This remote position requires residing within the designated territory and driving 25‑50% of the time to serve multiple accounts. Responsibilities Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures. Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures. Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products. Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business. Work in partnership with the Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities. Collaborate and strategize with the local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CAS Solutions products. Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region. Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support. Serve as a regional champion to share experience and influence others to be proficient in mapping technology. Additional Job Requirements Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation. Clinical Specialists must be within their assigned territory each day and be available for unscheduled needs. Occasional travel outside the assigned territory, possibly overnight. Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed. Must freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, and be visually able to interact with personal computers. Must be able to stand, sit or walk for 8 hours a day. Must be able to drive approximately 25‑50% of the time within the assigned territory. Required Qualifications High School diploma plus a minimum 8 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in the cardiac field. Associate degree plus a minimum 6 years of work experience in the same setting. Bachelor degree plus a minimum 4 years of work experience in the same setting. Preferred Qualifications B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or a technical discipline with a minimum of four years of experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales. Proven track record with technical training assignments. Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, or sales providing technical/clinical support.
