Skilled/Hospice Registered NurseUniversity Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Skilled/Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team in Livonia, MI. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients with skilled nursing and hospice needs, ensuring comfort and support to patients and their families during challenging times. You will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our patients through professional nursing care and emotional support.ResponsibilitiesProvide skilled nursing care to hospice and home care patients in accordance with physician orders and agency policies.Assess patient conditions regularly and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and symptom control.Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.RequirementsCurrent and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.Experience in skilled nursing and/or hospice care preferred.Excellent clinical assessment and patient care skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.BenefitsCompetitive salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.Health, dental, and vision insurance options.Professional development and continuing education support.Supportive and collaborative work environment.About the CompanyUniversity Home Care Inc is a leading provider of home-based nursing and hospice care services committed to enhancing the well-being and quality of life of our patients.
