Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Location: Bethesda, MD 20814
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and professional Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support services for a new client in Bethesda, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support with daily living activities, community integration, and recreational engagement.
• Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Encourage communication, social interaction, and positive engagement.
• Support household responsibilities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Accompany the individual to appointments, community outings, and scheduled activities.
• Administer medications in accordance with prescribed instructions and proper documentation procedures.
• Implement positive behavior support strategies and redirection techniques as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and incident reports.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the individual at all times.
• Promptly report any concerns, incidents, or changes in condition to supervisors.

Requirements

• DDA Core Training
• CPR Certification
• Bloodborne Pathogens Training
• Mandt Training
• CMT (Certified Medication Technician)
• Valid Driver’s License
