Quality Assurance Specialist - Insurance

Quality Assurance Specialist (Deer Park, IL – options: Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX) Summary Responsible for maintaining data integrity, system administration, and operational consistency across the agency. Works closely with the VP of Insurance Operations to support system oversight, onboarding, and compliance initiatives while ensuring adherence to internal standards and workflows. Job Responsibilities Conduct monthly file reviews to ensure adherence to agency standards and data accuracy Perform weekly data monitoring within Applied Epic to identify and address discrepancies Facilitate new associate onboarding across core systems, including Applied Epic, Indio, Applied University, CSR24, carrier portals, and Creative Compliance Provide ongoing training and development for associates to support system usage and process consistency Manage carrier and broker onboarding and off‑boarding processes Maintain carrier portal access, including agency credentials and user access management Maintain and track carrier and broker E&O certificates Assist with Epic help desk tickets, including troubleshooting system issues and providing timely resolution Assist with carrier policy & claim downloads Oversee associate and entity licensing renewals to ensure compliance Process surplus lines documentation and stamping requirements Support day‑to‑day system administration activities under the direction of the VP of Insurance Operations Required Experience Bachelor's Degree preferred, or similar experience required Minimum of 3 years of experience within a similar role in the insurance industry Working knowledge of Applied Epic and related agency systems preferred Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing quality results Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain processes clearly Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and cross‑functional teams High level of organization and accountability in completing assigned responsibilities Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions Maintains a high sense of urgency in responding to internal requests and system support needs Compensation and Benefits Approximate annual salary range: $60,000 – $70,000. This is a good faith estimate; final compensation will depend on factors such as qualifications, experience, skills, certifications, and location.
