SLPA - Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Implement programs or activities as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Assist SLP with screenings, assessments, and treatment of patients
- Complete documentation related to patient care
- Communicate with patients, their families, physicians, and staff
- Assist in the general operation of the department
- Assist with development of programs
About You
The company is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (or related field) with SLPA coursework
- At least 100 hours of supervised clinical experience under a licensed SLP
- Ability to work under the direct or indirect supervision of a licensed SLP
- Willingness to apply for licensure through the Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (OBESPA), including submission of transcripts, verification of clinical hours, and payment of fees
