Salary:

FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $35+ per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Work Schedule

This position is for 1st Shift , with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM , Monday through Friday. Flexibility may be required to support production needs, including occasional overtime.

Your Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician located in Kansas City, KS, reports to our Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs/ troubleshooting to mechanical and some electrical equipment (such as pumps, compressed air, high- pressure steam boiler, and hydraulic systems).
Performing preventative/predictive maintenance and lubricator tasks.
Assist with various maintenance projects.
Participate in general housekeeping and maintenance organization.

Qualifications we are looking for:

High school education or equivalent; Vocational School or Certification desired.
5+ years' industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
Be able to read and complete basic mathematical functions.

120-480 VAC volt, three-phase primary, 120 VAC control voltage experience required.
VFD experience required

Both threaded and flanged pipe assembly/installation experience required.
Welding experience required.

Blackmer, Viking, Gorman-Rupp pump, Mechanical seal experience desired.
Power Take Off experience desired.
Fork truck repair experience desired.
Must be self-motivated and ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
