Hours per Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM

Experience: 2+ years in Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics cases

License: Active VA License required

Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), CST

Must-Have: Active VA License at submission 2+ years experience in Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics

Description: Must have an active VA License at submission. BLS certification must be through AHA. CST certification is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics is essential. Common types of cases include Ortho (Total joints, Sports & Medicine, Fractures) and Neuro (Spine and Cranial procedures such as craniotomies, tumor resections, and brain biopsies). Familiarity with navigation technology is important. Experience in Maxillofacial, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-Rectal, General, GYN, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Thoracic, and Breast surgeries is preferred. There are 11 surgical suites available and an average of 25-35 cases are performed per day. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. Scrubs are provided. Shift expectations include a schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Weekend expectations involve call shifts during weekends and overnight as needed. There are 5-6 call shifts required each week, including overnight and weekend shifts. On-call responsibilities include holiday coverage if the schedule overlaps the contract timeframe.
