Pediatric Cardiologist

Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Cardiologist to join their growing team in Albuquerque, NM. This role involves providing comprehensive non-invasive and invasive evaluation and care for children and adults with heart disease within the only congenital cardiac surgery program in New Mexico. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-volume practice and collaborate with a team of specialists. Practice Info Join an established, growing group of 4 pediatric cardiologists Presbyterian Hospital is the only congenital cardiac surgery program in New Mexico An active congenital heart surgery program performs approximately 200 operations annually Busy clinical programs provide comprehensive non-invasive and invasive evaluation and care of children and adults with heart disease, including over 10,000 outpatient visits and 100 catheterizations Practice integrated in a thriving multispecialty clinic setting System-Wide EPIC EMR Responsibilities Consult on ED, NICU and PICU patients at Presbyterian and partner hospitals Assist pediatric cardiology, electrophysiology, adult congenital, and pediatric heart surgery colleagues with the management of service and inpatient consults Prepare for upcoming clinics by determining prior testing required for each patient Provide patient management for all patients scheduled for clinic and any urgent add-ons as agreed upon with colleagues Perform and interpret TTE and TEE Perform and interpret ECGs Perform and interpret Fetal echo's (non-essential) Compensation Salary Range: Negotiable Sign-on bonus Relocation bonus Benefits Robust, day one effective benefits plan consisting of medical, dental, and vision Exceptional retirement plans - 403b retirement savings program with both matching programs and employer contributions Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program eligibility, offering up to $75,000 in tax free loan repayment for a two year service commitment New Mexico Physician Tax Credit eligibility of up to $10,000 per year New Mexico Health Professional Loan Repayment Program eligibility, offering up to $75,000 per year in loan assistance with a required service commitment New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship eligibility for New Mexico residents Presbyterian Medical Group welcomes waiver applicants and has experience supporting physicians through the J-1 waiver process New Mexico Universal Childcare Program Shift & Schedule Full Time Weekly Schedule - Monday- Friday 8 AM - 5 PM Call - 1:4 Qualifications Must be BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology Experience and expertise with all types of general pediatric cardiology Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico No J-1 or H-1B visas accepted
