Woodwork and Casework Estimator (Entry Level) Full-time Regular Louisville, KY, US 12 days ago Requisition ID: 1120 Candidates for the Woodwork and Casework Estimator position will learn how to read blueprints, specifications, addenda, and other construction documents, perform accurate takeoff, procure pricing, review manufacturer quotes for accuracy and competitiveness, communicate effectively with teammates, manufacturers, architects, and clients, and prepare client facing proposals. This position is deadline focused and time management is key for success. In addition to estimating, this position will also be required to assist the sales/estimating team in converting estimates to orders once projects have been awarded to Atlas. Complete in-house training will be provided to ensure the candidate quickly becomes effective and confident in their abilities. Candidate must be detail oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have strong communication, problem solving and computer skills (including Windows, Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Google, etc.). Candidates must have a student mindset during training (willing to soak up knowledge and follow specific processes and procedures). Must be a self-starter. Procore and Bluebeam Revu knowledge/experience is preferred but not required. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with occasional overtime required; position requires full-time work in an office environment with nearly 100% of workdays consisting of completing takeoff's electronically with use of multiple monitors, procuring pricing via email, and preparing proposals for sales manager review on bid day.
