Associate Attorney - Product Liability

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Pasadena, CA, to join their team specializing in product liability and complex litigation matters. The role involves working with a diverse team to deliver strategic legal solutions across various jurisdictions. Duties Draft and review pleadings, motions, and litigation documents. Manage discovery processes and respond to written discovery. Develop case strategies and trial themes with autonomy. Research and analyze applicable case law and statutes. Prepare witnesses for testimony in litigation and regulatory proceedings. Take and defend depositions of witnesses and experts. Argue motions and participate in court appearances. Assist with case evaluations and risk assessments. Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with and supervise paralegals and support staff. Support senior attorneys on complex litigation matters. Engage in business development and networking opportunities. Foster an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Admission to practice in California required; additional licenses a plus. 0-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in relevant fields. Experience in a billable-hour law firm environment preferred. Strong client-service orientation and communication skills. Self‑motivated and capable of managing multiple deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with document management systems is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
