Mechanic - Pumps & Heavy Equipment Mechanic Department: Yards Employment Type: Full Time Location: Trevose, PA Description As a Mechanic you’ll perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on FieldForce diesel equipment. This field-based role includes on-site work at customer locations and participation in an on-call rotation. You’ll work independently, solve mechanical issues, and keep operations running safely and efficiently. This role will be based out of our Trevose, PA branch location. Responsibilities Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools Perform routine inspections and Tier 4 engine maintenance Rebuild or repair engines, emissions systems, and pump components Maintain detailed records and report equipment conditions to the manager Follow all safety procedures and environmental standards Participate in weekly on-call schedule and respond to urgent repairs Operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely Travel to job sites as needed (approx. 50%) Requirements High school diploma or GED 2-4 years of diesel repair experience or equivalent training Tier 4 engine and emission system knowledge preferred Strong diagnostic skills in both mechanical and electrical systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Familiarity of Engine diagnostic tools and Electrical components Must be willing to learn and be part of a growing Team This role operates in both shop and field environments and requires the ability to work in all weather conditions Benefits Paid Holidays Medical / Dental / Vision coverage Health savings account (HSA) Company Paid Life Insurance and Accidental & Dismemberment Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance 401k with a company match Paid Time Off Employee Assistance Program Professional Development Programs Employee Referral Programs Voluntary Benefits Offered #J-18808-Ljbffr FieldForce Rentals
