Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions and treatments as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment to ensure effective, personalized care
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs to promote continued recovery
• Communicate patient status and observations clearly to the supervising PT
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and infection-conscious environment
• Help patients restore mobility, improve function, and achieve their treatment goals

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy interventions and treatment plans
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Patient education techniques for home exercise programs
• Compliance with safety and infection control standards
• Collaborative mindset for working with interdisciplinary teams
