Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for veterans
• Help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore function
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs and home safety
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Oklahoma
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting preferred
• Prior DOR experience highly valued
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach

Education

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficiency in documentation and EHR systems
