Position Summary

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join a passionate team of imaging experts committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Utilizing the latest ultrasound technology, your role will involve conducting diagnostic procedures while collaborating closely with a team of healthcare providers to reassure patients through timely and precise imaging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, articulating each step of the process with understanding and empathy
• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-caliber diagnostic images
• Expertly operate and maintain ultrasound equipment while promptly addressing any technical issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and practice standards

Education and Qualifications

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Needed

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
