## Associate BuyerOklahoma City, OK, USApply NowFind out how well you match with this jobJob ID329668Job Title: Associate BuyerJob Category: ContractsTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: NoneEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: Continental US\* \* \***The Opportunity:**This position will be in our CACI Enterprise Services , where the individual will work under close supervision to prepare and administer purchase orders for materials in accordance with client requirements, government regulations and procurement policies/procedures.* Typically works on purchasing activities valued up to $150,000.* May be assigned higher value tasks with oversight from more senior level staff.* Must comply with corporate policies, procedures, and underlying Federal, state, and/or local regulations concerning the purchase and/or shipment of goods, materials, and services.**Responsibilities:*** Review requisition, solicit/evaluate bid, recommend and select supplier for award of purchase orders.* Negotiate price, quality, delivery and other terms and conditions.* Perform oversight on all awarded purchase orders until delivery/completion of goods/services.* Coordinate and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment.* Recruit and maintain responsive suppliers providing high quality products and services at fair and reasonable prices.* Negotiate with suppliers and settles damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering change orders.**Qualifications:***Required:** Typically has a Bachelor’s degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical education or equivalent, and 0 to 2 years of related purchasing experience.* Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.* Highly organized with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.* Attention to details and problem-solving skills.*Desired:** Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent.* Experience in Costpoint and P2P systems is a plus.* Knowledge of FAR, DFAR and GSA Schedules.* Advanced Excel and Word Document skills.-**What You Can Expect:****A culture of integrity.**At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
