Enterprise Data Architect / Migration Expert (Remote)

Salary: $185,000 - 205,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree with 15 years of experience, or commensurate experience
• At least 12 years of relevant experience or equivalent professional expertise
• Experience working with CDW, VISTA, and Oracle Health data
• Expertise in CDW metadata, data modeling, and CDW query optimization
• Ability to identify architectural migration patterns and resolve dependencies
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with a broad range of VA stakeholders
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance
• Preferred: Experience with virtual and/or cloud-based servers
• Preferred: Strong technical documentation and reporting skills
• Preferred: Experience working in an Agile environment

• Lead the design and evolution of our enterprise data architecture, establishing scalable patterns for data ingestion, integration, storage, transformation, and governance across complex VA environments
• Provide technical leadership across Azure cloud and data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, and ADLS, for enterprise-scale data workloads
• Develop and enforce reference architectures, data models, and architecture decisions
• Provide technical leadership to Data Engineering, DevSecOps, AI/ML, cloud provisioning, and security teams
