Back Public Finance Analyst - Tax Dallas, Texas Fin/Acct/HR: Direct Hire Jun 30, 2026 Job Description A reputable Dallas firm is seeking an Analyst to support their public finance practice. This position plays a key role in analyses of municipal bond transactions. It requires a high level of accuracy while meeting reporting and all other deadlines. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and strong communication and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Prepare numerical schedules, tax computations, and financial analyses needed for the closing of municipal bond transactions. Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of various tax documents, including IRS forms. Build and maintain Excel tools, workpapers, templates, and calculation sheets. Run complex computations involving bond yield, arbitrage, and use‑of‑proceeds tracking. Perform quality checks on all numerical data to ensure accuracy. Work closely with attorneys and fellow analysts to meet deal timelines. Other duties as assigned. Requirements B.A. in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field 3+ years of experience in municipal finance, tax or financial analysis, banking, or similar fields. Experience with municipal bond transactions, closing documents and familiarity with IRS rules for tax‑exempt bonds, and document management systems is a plus. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required, including Excel, Word and Outlook. Professionalism, confidentiality, and strong work ethic. #J-18808-Ljbffr
