Shifts: 7AM - 7PM


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role is focused on providing exemplary care to post-surgical patients, including orthopedic and general surgery, with a focus on neuro populations. Experience with EPIC is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
• Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• Travel experience required
• Weekend availability, scheduling based on need
