General Surgeon Opportunity

General Surgeons of Gwinnett is seeking a General Surgeon to join an established surgical group.

Practice highlights include:

• Join a well-established, multi-physician general surgery group
• Opportunity to build a busy elective surgical practice
• Access to both Northside Hospital Duluth and Northside Hospital Gwinnett
• Robotic surgery platforms available at both campuses
• Outpatient surgery center located on the Gwinnett campus
• No responsibility for trauma or breast surgery call

Surgical scope practice includes bread-and-butter general surgery with preferred clinical interests in Endocrine surgery (thyroid/parathyroid) and/or Foregut surgery a plus.

Qualifications include:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Laparoscopic training & Robotic surgery experience required
• 3 Years+ post residency required
• Comfortable building up a new practice location - Snellville, GA
• Strong interest in building a long-term practice are also welcome
• Have an active GA medical license or the ability to obtain one
• MD/DO

The new tower will add hundreds of additional inpatient beds, bringing total hospital capacity to approximately 700+ beds, making it the largest hospital within the Northside system.
