Our agency opened in October 2025 and we’re currently a growing team of three plus myself. Before becoming an agent, I spent six years working as a State Farm team member, which gave me valuable experience and a strong foundation for building my own office. I’m a proud Sumter native and a graduate of Clemson University, where I earned my B.S. in Economics. I’m a big family person and love spending time outdoors. I also serve as a track coach and enjoy staying involved in the community through local events and the Chamber of Commerce. For our team, we offer team lunches, ongoing training and development, 10 days of PTO, 5 sick days, licensing reimbursement, and a 401(k). When the team hits goals, we also celebrate with incentives like a four-day work week. We enjoy things like coffee mornings and creating opportunities to connect as a team. Our culture is laid back but driven. We work hard, support each other, and keep an open-door environment where everyone feels comfortable contributing. As Account Manager - State Farm Agent Team Member for Leah Barwick - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. As an attentive, sociable, and sales-minded professional, we are eager to have you on our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
- Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
- Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues.
- Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.
- Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
