Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Third Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 6-bed LDRP unit encompassing Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Triage, and Antepartum services
• Care for Normal Newborn and Special Care Nursery infants, including infant IV starts and management and High Flow Oxygen
• Manage patients at 36 weeks gestation or higher across all applicable care settings
• Perform fetal heart rate monitoring and respond appropriately to maternal and fetal status changes
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for mothers and newborns
• Provide coverage for holidays as needed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license in hand or proof of Minnesota license application at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• BLS certification required
• FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) certification required
• Newborn/nursery experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Special Care Nursery infant management, including IV therapy and High Flow Oxygen
• Familiarity with triage and antepartum patient populations
• Experience in a combined LDRP care model
