Physician – Intensivist Boone Hospital Center, a 392‑bed full service hospital in Columbia, Missouri is seeking an Intensivist Physician. The candidate for this position will be joining an established hospital within a strong community focused to improve the health of the people and communities we serve. Ensures optimal care and promotes safety of patients admitted to assigned critical service in cooperation with the private attending staff and nursing staff. Communicates with staff, patients, and families. Immediate patient volume within the hospital, ensuring a rewarding practice from day one. Responsibilities Provide exceptional medical care of assigned patients, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver compassionate care. Perform thorough histories and physicals, adhering to hospital by‑laws and best practices. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety in this critical role at Boone Health. Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
