Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: RN Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Nights - 12HR rotation Hours per Shift: 3P-3A / 7P-7A rotation. 36 hours per week. Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience. 2 years of work history required for non-local candidates. License: Active NY RN license Certifications: NIH, AHA BLS Must-Have: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Description: This position is within a large, high-acuity Emergency Department with 80 treatment spaces in a modern environment. The team is experienced, collaborative, and supportive. There is strong leadership and a focus on high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency care. Candidates are required to work one weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must also work at least one holiday during the contract. A rotating blocked schedule can be requested, with specific preferences for Thursday through Saturday or Friday through Sunday. On-call shifts are not mandatory but highly recommended, averaging between 2 hours per contracted week. On-call shifts may occur between evening and morning hours and can be picked up in various block lengths. Charting is done using electronic health record software.
