EVS Associate I, Environmental Services
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, including patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and furnishings, using proper chemicals and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Cleans assigned area each day, including bathrooms, flooring, furnishings, flat surfaces, high surfaces, and trash receptacles.
- Cleans the patient's furnishings and bed upon discharge following departmental procedures/standards for check-out.
- Cleans the assigned area utilizing proper chemicals.
- Cleans the assigned area utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Obtains supplies and equipment at the beginning of each shift and puts supplies and equipment away at the end of each shift.
- Maintains cart, caddy, equipment, and janitors closets in an orderly fashion.
- Cleans the assigned area in a designated time frame.
- Executes a job with little supervision.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
