Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU

Location

Atlanta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ICU-level patients within a specialized overflow area of the Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients in alignment with ICU standards of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and transitions
• Perform and document NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) assessments as required
• Adapt to a block scheduling model, with shifts currently structured Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• NIHSS certification required
• ICU clinical experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Emergency Department (ED) experience in addition to ICU background
• Comfort working in evolving, pilot-program environments with flexible scheduling needs
