Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Perform in-process and final inspections against blueprints and specifications (dimensional, visual, and functional) using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
- Execute incoming material inspections and manage dispositions (accept, reject, or hold).
- Maintain accurate inspection records and non-conformance documentation in accordance with ISO 13485 and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Support root-cause investigations and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes for quality issues.
- Conduct first-article inspections for new production runs and engineering changes.
- Calibrate, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of inspection and measurement equipment.
- Support internal audits and assist in maintaining readiness for customer and regulatory audits.
- Hands-on Inspection Experience: Demonstrated experience performing physical inspections in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device or ISO 13485 experience preferred) using precision measurement tools.
- Technical Drawing Literacy: Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- QMS & Documentation Rigor: Strong documentation practices with direct experience handling Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), CAPA procedures, and material traceability records.
