Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. This role requires the ability to float as needed across related departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients during labor and delivery, including postpartum and newborn care.
- Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and circulate in the OR as needed.
- Administer medications, IVs, and blood products per established protocols.
- Conduct assessments and monitor patient diagnoses related to obstetrics.
- Utilize specialized equipment and procedures as required.
- Participate in team-based care and collaborate with interdisciplinary support.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care.
- Active compact RN license.
- Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP, ACLS.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
