Clinical Care Technician, Cardio Prog Care/Telemetry

Job Overview Clinical Care Technician – Cardio Progress Care/Telemetry, part‑time night shift at RWJ New Brunswick. The 34‑bed cardiac unit provides telemetry, medical‑surgical, and intermediate care. No prior experience is required; training will be provided. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities and provide patient care (vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, bedside care such as bathing, mouth care, skin care). Deliver patient care based on physical, educational, and safety criteria appropriate to age. Support effective and safe patient outcomes through judgment and critical actions. Communicate with patients and nursing colleagues about patient status. Collaborate on patient care plans from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through American Heart Association. Preferred: prior nursing assistant or clinical experience from an accredited program. Preferred: certification as a nursing assistant. Scheduling Requirements Night shift, 24 hours per week (3 shifts per week), 11 p‑7:30 a. Every other weekend and 3 of 6 holidays. Benefits Paid Time Off including vacation, holidays, and sick time.
