Mechanic Assistant Full Time Garage, Kennett, MO, US Job Purpose Assist with performing routine maintenance/repairs and coordinating extraordinary maintenance/repairs on all FCCBH fleet vehicles Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Must possess a valid driver’s license Two years related experience preferred Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Computer skills required, primarily Microsoft office applications Must be able to work flexible hours Must have basic hand tools Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders Core Job Duties Assist in the following duties as appropriate. Schedule and perform vehicle maintenance requirements in a timely manner. Report all abnormal vehicle conditions to the Fleet Manager. Ensure the garage is maintained for safety and to a high housekeeping standard. Maintain spare parts inventory to ensure efficient garage operation. Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records. Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models. Orally communicate information effectively and accurately. Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
