Job DescriptionRole Overview: Unpack Your PotentialAs a Maintenance Technician, you will service and support manufacturing operations by maximizing production output through timely machine repairs, procurement of replacement parts, preventive maintenance, adherence to safety standards, and upkeep of building systems.Schedule:Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6 PM – 6 AM) on a 4-3 rotationFixed Days:Option 1: Sunday–Tuesday and every other SaturdayOption 2: Wednesday–Friday and every other SaturdayNote: Employees are assigned to one of the two fixed schedules and do not rotate between them.Compensation & Benefits: Value, RecognizedWe reward great work with:Pay: $30 - $33/hour + $1.50/night shift premium401(k): Dollar-for-dollar match up to 8%Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, disability, and life insurance coverage starting day onePaid time off and holidaysTuition reimbursement and professional development opportunitiesJob Description: Possibility UnpackedWhat you’ll do:Asses and repair equipment as problems arise for the machines and the buildingAttend and participate in maintenance department and plant meetingsAssist in capital improvement projectsTroubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical issuesMake repairs in a timely manner, while working under pressureAssist other departments with improvement projectsComplete required forms legiblyWhat we want from you: Lead the PackPreferred qualifications:4+ years of experience in Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Technician or related role in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of related experience and educationExperience maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systemsPrefer strong electrical background with emphasis around controlsSolid communication and teamwork skillsWilling and able to work a flexible schedule of up to 12-hour shiftsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for 12-hour shiftsStand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.Perform tasks in a fast-paced production environmentWhy Amcor?Be part of a global leader while working in a supportive, team-driven environment.
