Maintain patient confidentiality and conduct in accordance with Phoenix House medication policies and procedures. Supervise unlicensed assistive personnel; (e.g., CNA, Medical assistant, medical technician). Conduct routine nursing procedures such as EKGs, wound care, specimen collection and more. Administer prescribed medications, including oral, topical, and injectable forms (IM, Sub‑Q, intradermal) in accordance with NYS scope of practice and facility policies. Perform and document vital signs, weight, and other clinical assessments to monitor patient condition and report significant findings to supervising clinicians. Observe and promptly report changes in patient behavior, appearance, or health status to the RN or provider. Provide health education and reinforce treatment plans, medication adherence, and self‑care strategies as directed by supervising clinicians.
